Yeah, I know it's been a long time since I've updated my journal. Life kind of got a hold of me and told me to stop being a stick in the mud. But but, I like being a stick in the mud! I like my way of doing things. Apparently, it didn't. lol So, I've been rather busy. I had a busy week last week and I honestly thought the week would never end. This weekend is Easter weekend and it's another busy weekend. Going to be seeing all sorts of family this weekend. I'll be looking forward to Monday where I can just veg out. I had a bit of a brain wave this week though. I have another novel in the works, but it ties everything together, right down to

No not really, just a lot of oh wow. I have a beta reader and I sat last night waiting for her to yell the name of the character that I placed in there. She knew who he was and yes, she yelled his name at me. It made me realize that sometimes even with your best laid out plans that Characters tend do show up or do things for a reason. Now I know why he showed up and I'm making more progress with that. I'm still stumped with Nick's story, BUT I think I'm heading in the right direction with thoughts on that one. We'll see; it's been on the shelf for months, but I think if I do it right I might be able to get past the hump I'm at with it. We'll
